Green Beans with a Twist

This is the green bean recipe that we had with the Prosciutto Pasta recipe that was posted last week. I try to cook with fresh vegetables whenever possible, but when time is short, frozen can be just as good. I like this recipe because it is fast and full of flavor. Bacon goes well with almost everything!

Green Beans with a Twist

Ingredients
  • 24 ounces frozen French-style green beans
  • 8 oz sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 envelope ranch salad dressing mix
  • 5 tbs real bacon bits
Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, saute beans and mushrooms in butter.
  2. Sprinkle with dressing mix; toss to coat.
  3. Just before serving, sprinkle with bacon.
