Chinese Five Spice Roasted Sweet Potatoes

We don’t make sweet potatoes very often at our house because our children don’t seem to like sweet vegetables. But, I like this combination of flavors with the Chinese Five Spice with the sweet potato. The recipe is simple and easy. If you’re not familiar with Chinese Five Spice, you can find it on the spice aisle in the grocery store and it is not spicy. It’s a combination of cinnamon, star anise, fennel, ginger, cloves, white pepper, and licorice root.
